Sparked by a life-changing moment of adversity, surviving a near-death experience in the harsh New Zealand bush, Stoney Creek was born. Our mission is to maximise your experience, and we set out to achieve this by providing purpose-built gear that is specifically designed for an intended application.

We are forever on the hunt for innovative new ways to offer cutting-edge fabrics and innovative purpose-built designs. When it came to offering the market a really technical high-end camouflage pattern, we weren’t happy with where things were at in the market. We set out on a journey to build the world’s best camouflage for hunters. That's how Tuatara® Camo was born.

Owners, Brent and Juanita McConnell put their blood sweat and tears into making sure that every Stoney Creek product is purpose-built, tried and tested. With a strong rural connection themselves, they continue to be hands-on in farming and hunting communities. We know the complexities of the land - and, we share your passion for getting out there amongst it. This passion for both industries is reflected in the practical, hard-wearing garments we produce. Because we’re hunters too, we expect the best and deliver the best - without compromise.

A team who understands the demands of extreme environments

New Zealand is known as a country for its beautiful but extreme environments. For this reason, us Kiwis have had to get creative when it comes to outdoor equipment, and as a nation, we’ve come to be seen as a leader in innovation and technology across the agriculture and outdoor adventure industries. This combination makes NZ the ideal place for creating and testing our products before taking them to the world. We put our gear through its paces here, and we back our products to perform, globally.
